The Human Factor Human systems define how we see ourselves as people, and how we behave as individuals and groups. Families, social groups, organisations, economies, nations, political blocs, cultures and religions are human systems. Unfortunately human systems are easily disrupted or damaged. One of the major reasons why technical and information systems fail to deliver the expected benefits is because of their effects on the human systems into which they have to be embedded. Interfacing these two types of systems can be difficult and often require special skills. Article: Skills Force not Workforce |
